Waynesville Police Department and REACH of Haywood County have teamed up to provide the nationally recognized Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Systems program to women of all ages throughout the region.

From March 2–6, 2026, Haywood County will host a five-day R.A.D. instructor training, welcoming law enforcement, educators, and community leaders from across Western North Carolina.
