šŸŽØ A Local Dad’s Ask: Help My Daughter McKenna Take 1st Place by Tomorrow Night

I don’t usually write articles like this.

But this one’s personal.

My daughter, McKenna, is currently sitting in 3rd place in a national kids art competition, and she has a real shot at moving into 1st place—but only if we make a push before tomorrow at 10 PM Eastern.

And honestly… she’s close enough that this could come down to community.

This is the round that could advance her to the quarterfinals. First place winners combine to start the final stretch!

šŸ—³ļø What She Needs

This isn’t complicated.

Voting is:

  • Free
  • Quick (about 10 seconds)
  • And resets every day

šŸ‘‰ That means even if you’ve voted before—you can vote again today and tomorrow.

šŸ‘‰ Vote here: https://artistickid.org/

(You’ll just find McKenna’s entry and cast your vote.)

šŸ’› Why I’m Asking

As a dad—and as someone who cares about this community—I’ve seen how powerful it is when people show up for each other.

This isn’t about a big prize or anything life-changing.

It’s about a kid getting to experience what it feels like when people rally around her.

And right now, she’s close enough that a small group of people consistently voting could actually push her to the top.

šŸ˜… Full Transparency: This Could Backfire on Me

In a moment of confidence (or poor judgment), I told people:

If McKenna gets 1st place… we'd record something embarassing done by me.

She's got a list of idea! and it will be decided by a dice roll.

So your vote doesn’t just help her…

It might also create a moment the whole community gets to enjoy at my expense.

ā³ The Deadline

šŸ•™ Voting closes tomorrow at 10 PM Eastern

That gives us:

  • Today
  • And one more full day of voting

If you’ve got 10 seconds while scrolling, waiting in line, or before bed—

šŸ‘‰ Take a second to vote for McKenna

And if you’re willing, share it with someone else.

Let’s see what happens when a community leans in.
