Speak Easy Coming to Waynesville

A Longtime Local Business Is Opening a New Gathering Space in Downtown Waynesville 🎱

After more than a decade serving Haywood County, WNC Billiards LLC is expanding in an exciting new direction.

If you’ve ever bought, moved, repaired, or admired a quality pool table locally, there’s a good chance WNC Billiards had a hand in it. For 10 years, they’ve specialized in pool table sales, professional installation, moving, and service, helping homes and businesses across Western North Carolina bring game rooms to life.

Now, they’re taking that same passion for the game and turning it outward—creating a place for the community to gather.

A Speakeasy-Style Space Is Coming

WNC Billiards has announced plans to open a speakeasy-style social space in downtown Waynesville. Designed as a relaxed hangout rather than a loud bar scene, the new spot will offer:

  • 🎱 Games and friendly competition
  • 🍺 Beer and wine
  • 🥤 Non-alcoholic beverage options
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 A welcoming place to connect and unwind

The goal? A fun, laid-back environment where locals can spend time together, enjoy a drink, and enjoy the games they already love.

Located Right on Wall Street

📍 181 Wall Street, Waynesville, NC 28786

The space is currently marked “Coming Soon,” but it’s already shaping up to be a unique addition to downtown—blending Waynesville’s small-town charm with a classic speakeasy vibe.

We’ll be keeping an eye on opening details. In the meantime, it’s another great example of a local business growing roots even deeper in Haywood County.
